SAW FEE Racks

21st of August, Rovsing   successfully completed the Test Readiness Review (TRR) of the 4^th recurring SAW FEE (Solar Array Wing Front-End Equipment) for customers AntwerpSpace and Airbus DS in support of the Orion-European Service Module (ESM) programme of NASA and ESA. Each SAW FEE system consists of two racks filled with Rovsing-built RO-5100 Solar Array Simulators (SAS),  RO-1010 Second Level Protection (SLP) modules, and RO-2300 Solar Array Platforms. The SAW FEE racks emulate the 4 solar array wings of the ESM and this 4^th  system will be used in Bremen to support the integration and testing of the Flight Model-2 ESM, which will take astronauts for a flyby of the moon during Exploration Mission 2 (EM-2).

Having successfully completed the TRR, the Rovsing team will now conduct the Acceptance Test Campaign ahead of delivery of the SAW FEE system to Airbus DS in September.
