During the past few weeks there has been a number of milestone achievements and deliveries to our customers – we have just been so busy to make those happen that we neglected to write about them separately!

On 30^th of May we completed a successful Test Readiness Review (TRR) for the Galileo 2^nd Generation (G2G) Service Module Simulator (SMS) SCOE following a colocation at our premises with our customer Thales Alenia Space Italy (TAS-I). The SMS SCOE is now undergoing the Factory Acceptance Test campaign and will be delivered to TAS-I in Rome in September. The SMS SCOE is the first of several G2G test systems Rovsing is designing and manufacturing for TAS-I.

We delivered two Power Front-End test systems to NASA Goddard Space Flight Center at the beginning of June. These two systems are identical to an earlier system we shipped to NASA in early April and will be used by our customer as part of their development of flight equipment for the Mars Sample Return missions.

On June 20th the first Umbilical SCOE was delivered to our customer SITAEL for supporting the Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) of the ASI PLATiNO 1 & 2 missions.

The 2^nd Umbilical SCOE has recently passed the TRR milestone and is undergoing final testing for delivery in July while a MiniCOTE is fully assembled and awaiting it turn as well in our lab.

On June 20th we had two very large deliveries leaving our doors destined for Thales Alenia Space in the UK, as the 2^nd set of the PLATO EPS SCOE and the FLEX EPS SCOE were loaded onto the truck now making its way to Harwell.

PLATO is a medium-class mission in ESA’s Cosmic Vision programme aimed at studying properties of terrestrial planets in the habitable zone around Sun-like stars.

The FLEX mission is part of the Earth Explorer missions in ESA’s Living Planet Programme and will provide global maps of vegetation fluorescence.

As with all of our Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) offerings the above-mentioned systems will provide the customer with a range of ground support testing and simulation based on Rovsing key products such as the RO-5100 SAS Module, R0-1010 and RO-1130 SLP Modules, RO-2000 range MASC products as well as the Rovsing EGSE Controller SW Suite.
