Due to increased activity and a change in our organization, which will be effective the second half of 2021, Rovsing is recruiting a Sales Engineer to support the Chief Executive Officer with the acquisition of new prospects on the worldwide space market. Proposal preparation, management and support will be the main responsibility of the Sales Engineer, besides supporting the CEO in general sales acquisition activities like company visits and market research.

Rovsing provides state of the art test and simulation systems for ground testing of satellites to customers primarily in Europe and USA. These systems enable a satellite manufacturer to test existing parts of a satellite and simulate non-existing parts during their development, assembly, integration and test. All our systems are built to very high safety and quality standards. Rovsing also provides Independent Software Verification and Validation up to safety-critical (Class A) software and On-site Engineering Support.

We are looking for a person with a profile matching most of the characteristics listed below:

 Skills and Profile

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in the field of satellite check out systems or special check out equipment.
  • Experience in analysing, designing and implementing efficient solutions in response to customer specifications.
  • Experience with (technical) proposal writing, preferably in the space market or similar high-tech markets is a plus.
  • Experience with technical customer communication in a B2B environment.
  • Totally fluent in the English language (full professional proficiency).
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills a must.
  • Structured, proactive, energetic and interested in using a broad range of competences.
  • Willing to travel and commit to strict deadlines.
  • Takes responsibility for your own work and the overall results.

The working location will be at Rovsing’s premises in Skovlunde (Copenhagen, Denmark).
